Do you have to sign a contract?
No. One of the advantages of Xecunet DSL is that you do not have to sign a contract.

Does anyone have to visit my house?
No, Xecunet will provide a "Do-It-Yourself" installation package, but if you would like, we can arrange to have a technician visit your house and install the equipment at a cost of $125.

I live in an apartment, not a house. Can I get DSL?
Yes. Since DSL comes in over a phone line, living in an apartment versus a house should not matter.

Do I still need another ISP with DSL?
No. Xecunet will be your ISP (internet service provider). You will also be able to utilize our mail and news servers.

Will DSL work for online gaming?
Yes, DSL should provide an excellent connection for online gaming.

Will I still be able to get to my Yahoo! or Hotmail account?
Yes, Xecunet DSL will provide you with a high speed connection to the internet, through which you can access your Yahoo! or Hotmail account.

How long of a warranty do I have on the modem?
Xecunet provides a 1 year limited warranty on the DSL modem

If you throw it up against a wall, we will not replace it.

How do I obtain a warranty replacement?
The best way is to bring the modem and cables by our office and just swap it out. You can also ship the modem back to us and we'll ship you a new one out.

The modem is out of warranty, how much is a new one?
A new DSL modem is $99.00 dollars plus tax

I put my number in your qualification search and it says I'm unavailable.
Why is this?
Unfortunately DSL isn't offered everywhere. You'll need to be within 18,000 cable feet of a telephone company central office to qualify for Xecunet DSL.

I'm not really good with computers. Can I have Xecunet come out and take care of everything for me?
Absolutely. Xecunet net can provide a truck roll installation of your DSL for a one time flat fee of $125.00 dollars.

How long does it take to get DSL?
DSL takes 5-10 to provision the line for a DSL signal

Will my phone service be interrupted?
Not at all, you will not experience any outage in phone service

What happens after the line is provisioned?
We will send you a self installation kit that has everything you to setup your new Xecunet DSL
